BTEC Business Studies aims to enable students with a high-quality, vocational, engaging and applied curriculum. This course allows students to apply their knowledge, skills and understanding in the context of future development. It also provides students with the opportunity to link education and the world of work in engaging, relevant and practical ways.

This course also aims to help support learners’ development of transferable interpersonal skills, including working with others, problem-solving, independent study, and personal, learning and thinking skills.
Students will be graded with either a:
- L1 Pass
- L2 Pass
- Merit
- Distinction 
- Distinction*
A grade in BTEC is the equivalent  to one GCSE grade A*-C.

Students will complete 2 core units, one of which is an external exam. We will then chose from 2 additional units to complete, both of which are internally assessed.
