NEW St Anselm’s PE KIT From September 2022!

In light of the new government guidance to make School Uniform more sustainable and cost effective for parents, the PE department have been in talks with Ambition Sport over the last 6 months.

We have reviewed the current provision and actioned the following:

Kept branded items to JUST the PE performance t-shirts
Applied the same consideration to PE kit therefore all other products are plain black with NO BRANDING (midlayer, shorts, skorts, joggers, leggings and base layers).
Been mindful on financial hardship
Are ‘fully compliant’ with the government policy in 2023.

FAQs

Question 1: Do ALL students have to purchase this new PE top?

Answer: No, this will be a completely phased approach. Students attending St Anselm’s in September 2022 will be required to purchase the new PE tops however all other students will be completely optional until September 2024.

Students currently in year 7/8/9 will be required to purchase the new PE top as and when they grow out of the current PE kit provision.

Question 2: Is there an option for personalisation?

Answer: No, all personalisation has been removed this will allow families with more than 1 student attending St Anselm’s to pass down smaller tops to allow families to save money and be more sustainable to the environment and save waste.

Question 3: Do we have to purchase the other items from Ambition Sport as they are not branded?

Answer: No, all other items are completely optional with a plain black and minimalistic approach. Students will be required to meet the following brief of plain black and little/no logos.
Leggings must be of a black, stretchy sport material e.g. polyester. Leggings must not be pure cotton or ‘see thru’.

Question 4: What size will I need?

Answer: Ambition will host open mornings/ afternoon’s at School to allow all current existing pupils to try on the new PE stock to ensure a seamless and effective transition for parents without the need to return items or buy the incorrect size.

We do recommend all products from Ambition Sport as they are all of excellent quality and meet the requirement of little/no branding.
