Trips
Recently some of our year 11's made a trip to London to see Science Live. We saw gust speakers from all three disciplines such as Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock Astronomer and presenter of The Sky at Night, Professor Alice Roberts, Anthropologist and Professor Andrea Sella, Chemist. We also had tips and revision ideas to improve year 11 GCSE results. It was a great day out and we hope to repeat it next year and take part in the A-Level experience too.
The Science department are committed to providing learning experiences outside the classroom wherever possible with multiple educational visits being organised throughout the academic year.
We run a Sixth Form Iceland Trip. If you plan to be in our Sixth Form next year - join us! Please speak to Mrs Allen.

Our aim is to provide opportunities for students to deepen their understanding and apply their knowledge within the field of Science, as well as within subject areas across the breadth of the curriculum. Below you will find the promotional video made from students experiences in previous years.
