Trips and Events
The year 10 & 12 Art and Photography students went to the National Portrait Gallery in May 2025. They took photographs of the work, and made their own sketches based from what they had seen, to help inspire them for their work back at school.

The year 11 Art and Photography students visited the Victoria and Albert museum in January 2025. This was an opportunity for all the students to develop their skills and knowledge, and formed part of their GCSE Art / Phottography exam preparation studies within their sketchbooks.
The year 11-13 students visited the Tate Modern Gallery to expand their skills and knowledge, and find inspiration for their projects at school. The students photographed and sketched in the gallery, as well as taking photographs of the surrounding areas of London.

Year 12 and 13 A level Art students attended a life drawing workshop in conjunction with other schools in EKST. They produced stunning work and it provided an entirely new experience of working with live sketching and models.

Year 10 and 12 Art and Photography students took a trip into Canterbury to explore ceramics and water vessels at The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge and The Canterbury Roman Museum.

Year 13 Art students took part in The Walk with Amal on her journey from Syria up to Manchester, and on to COP26 in Scotland. Workshopping with a local artist, students created their own personalised horse heads for the procession. St. Anselm's joined 11 other local schools in the celebration.
