Hello from our Chinese sister school

Recently Mr Dawkins, one of the representatives for Kent Catholic Schools Partnership, returned from the city of Chengdu, in China.   He represented St Anselm’s Catholic School in a signing ceremony linking St Anselm’s with our new sister school Huayang Middle School No3.   The linking of the two schools is the initial part of a long-term cultural exchange between schools within the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership and those in the Chengdu district in China.  Later on this academic year  St Anselm’s Catholic School will welcome a group of students from our sister school.   To reciprocate this we will be sending students to our sister school in October 2020.  It is hoped that this initial sharing will forge a greater link between the students of St Anselm’s Catholic School and Huayang Middle School No3.   Something that can grow in the future to develop a greater understanding of each other’s culture.
