PTA AGM - 18 November 2019
Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to invite you to our AGM on Monday 18th November at 7pm at the Old Gate Inn to discuss the PTA contributions for 2019 and how best we can support the school in 2020.
As parents/carers of children at the school, you are automatically members of the PTA and you are most welcome to become more involved in helping the school and so the children through the medium of the PTA. Everything we fundraise during the year is given back, for projects that will benefit our children.
Throughout the academic year we run a number of events, and we are always open to new volunteers and ideas to enable us to grow the events we run, and so increase the monies that can be re-invested in the school. Fundraising in secondary schools brings its own unique challenges and if you have any creative ideas and/or time to help us, it would be very much appreciated.
As a PTA committee member you will have the opportunity to support and at the same time keep in touch with what is happening within the school, whilst socialising with like-minded parents (and teachers). We generally meet once a term, usually in the evening and at the Old Gate Inn, adjacent to the school. Dates are posted in advance on the St Anselm’s PTA Facebook page.
We hope to see you there at the AGM, or if you can’t make it but would like to be involved, and then make yourself known to us either via the St Anselm’s Facebook page or one of the parent evenings . Any help small or large is most welcome.
Kind regards,
Charlotte Newton - PTA Chair
Denise Hodge - PTA Treasurer
