Christmas Carol Service at St Thomas' 

Our Christmas Carol Service is held annually in December at St Thomas' of Canterbury RC Church, 59 Burgate, Canterbury CT1 2HJ.  All are welcome to attend.  Date for December 2026 TBC.

Catholic Social Teaching Events 

Upcoming events:

6th to 10th July 2026 - Common Good Week

Assemblies and tutor activities for the whole school to take part in.  Clothes & Uniform Swap Shop to take place all week.  'Meet the Priest' event along with cultural food days and hopefully a school Summer Fair.  Watch this space for further information......

Common Good Past Events:

An Easter Egg Hunt was organised by the school council for the whole school took place on 28th April 2026.  Pupils had to find an Easter egg hidden around the school site and then nominate another person to pass the egg to.

Our Art Department organised a whole school project on the theme of Common Good during Terms 3&4 during lesson time.  Some of the work is displayed outside our school chapel and has been circulated to our KCSP Trust and the Diocese due to the outstanding talent.

Catholic Social Teaching Event - held in February 2026 for our parents and pupils to attend after school.  Crafts for all made on the evening to raise money for charity.  A presentation was given by some of our pupils for everyone on what Catholic Social Teaching involves and lots of cake was made for everyone to enjoy as this wholesome event.

Retreats

Within our school community we take part in various retreats:

KCSP Beginning of the Year Mass - takes place in September for some of our Year 7 pupils to attend.

Year 7 - Aylesford Priory every October over two days.

Year 8 - St Anselm's Catholic School every July for one day on school site, with the focus on CAFOD and Catholic Social Teaching

Year 9 - Pilgrimage Day that takes place in July attending Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine's Abbey and The Pilgrim's Walk to visit the Pilgrimage sites in Canterbury.

Years 10 & 12 - Plans are underway for a residential for Year 10 & Year 12, further information to follow.
