Specialist Resourced Provision
The school has sixteen designated places for physically disabled students, and a purpose-built building with provision for students with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (September 2019). The site has been ramped for access to all areas and some doors can be opened by physically disabled students by pushing a button. There is a lift in More Block to enable students to access upper floors.
There are two Welfare Suites with toilet and shower facilities and a manual hoist (both rooms were refurbished in 2005-06). There is also an area for students needing supervision and assistance at lunchtime.
The admission arrangements for pupils without a statement of special educational needs / Education, Health and Care Plan do not discriminate against or disadvantage disabled children or those with special educational needs.
