Term 6 Learning Resources
Please find below the links for home learning resources for Term 6. Each student will have access to all of their subjects and a sequence of lessons within their subjects. If students work their way through the content provided (a good suggestion would be to tackle 3 or 4 lessons per day from varying subjects) and to compete the tasks associated with these lessons. The vast majority of these tasks can be self-assessed therefore allowing students to check on their knowledge straight away and in turn understand where they need to make improvements. Students will be required to complete at least one piece of assessed work throughout term 6 and this will be set in the same way as their assessment, using Microsoft Teams.

Please note that given the uncertainty surrounding students returning to school this may be subject to change
You will notice that the big change for term 6 is the introduction of some ‘live lessons’, we feel now is the appropriate time to move to this next phase and feel these will be beneficial in ensuring students receive some interaction with their teachers. It also provides a platform to deliver any particularly challenging work, engage in some interactive work (via audio or the chat function) and it provides students an opportunity to ask questions they have about the work. Students will start to receive invitations shortly for these live lessons.

Guidance surrounding live lessons:
Each live lesson will be scheduled a slot of one hour, this may mean that the whole lesson will last an hour or that staff will introduce and explain the topic and then set work for students to complete independently for the remainder of that hour. Please note that if a child cannot access the live lesson for a particular reason, please don’t panic, they will still be able to access the resources directly after the lesson.
May we take this opportunity to wish all students the very best for their studies throughout term 6 and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible logged on to the live lessons.
