At the start of this term
May we take time as a community to keep our minds open to the good news in our lives as we go about our living and learning. Alleluia!
We pray for Year 11 and year 13 during this time of formal assessment as part of their exam process. Walk with them Lord so that they may know your calming presence. Amen
For our Year 11,13 and 14 students
We pray for our Year 11, 13 and 14 students who are moving on. We ask that you send your Spirit upon them, for their heads to be clear and their hearts to be calm so that they can prepare themselves as best they can for their next steps, particularly in these uncertain times. Keep them always in your love, keep them safe and happy, and help them to make their mark on the world around them in a positive way.
Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer
Our School Prayer
Pour out your Spirit upon our School
and grant us a renewed vision of your glory,
so that we may experience your power,
be faithful to your Word
and consecrate ourselves to your service.
We pray that your love may grow among us,
and your kingdom come.
Through Christ our Lord
St Anselm, pray for us
Bosco House Prayer
Saint John Bosco,
as you saw Jesus in the face of every child,
help me show kindness to the strangers I meet.
St John Bosco, pray for us
Merici House Prayer
you were not afraid of change.
You did not let stereotypes keep you from serving.
Help us overcome our fear of changein order to follow God’s call and allow others to follow theirs.
St Angela Merici, pray for us
Aquinas House Prayer
Saint Thomas Aquinas,
you used the power of the human mind
to understand the glory of heaven.
Help me grow in my understanding of God’s plan for the world.
St Thomas Aquinas, pray for us
Saint Edith Stein,
holy martyr, philosopher of the truth,
defender of the human person against evils of this age,
enlighten our minds, light up our hearts,
fill our lives with the passion of your love for the Cross.
St Teresa Benedicata of the Cross, Edith Stein, pray for us
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be world without end

FOR NURSES AND MIDWIVES
For the nurses and midwives we know by name;
For the nurse and midwives who may have looked after us
and we don't know by name;
For all in the nursing profession who continue to serve others
in these challenging times;
for the members of our own families, our friends,
our past students and our wider school community
who have dedicated themselves to the nursing profession;
for those who have sacrificed their lives nursing the world to health.
We give thanks.
God of Mercy and Compassion,
We pray for all nurses, midwives, those in training and all in nursing profession, giving thanks for their expert care, bedside manner and commitment to serve others, particularly at this time when their own welfare is at risk. We ask that they may be blessed with the mental strength, physical energy and good health to continue with their essential work. Amen.

May the Lord bless us, and keep us,
make his face shine upon us and be gracious to us.
May the Lord turn his face towards us and give us peace.
May his favour be upon us
and a thousand generations
and our families and our children
and their children and their children.
May his presence go before us
and behind us and beside us,
all around us and within us.
He is with us, he is with us
In the morning and the evening,
in the coming and the glory,
in our weeping and rejoicing,
he is for us, in this world he is for us.
